Our Paradise Ltd Trading as Egmont Blinds

  1. Quotations are valid for 30 days
  2. All blinds are made “square” and no responsibility is taken for out of square windows
  3. Colours and weaves may vary from sample
  4. This order is a binding contract between parties
  5. Every effort is made to complete the contracting the estimated time ,however responsibility can be taken for circumstances beyond our control
  6. Deposit is to be paid before manufacture can commence and payment of balance is C.O.D unless prior arrangement is made
  7. subject to availability at time of order
  8. Installation dates given at time of order are an approximation unless prior arrangement has been made
  9. Installation id usually done during normal business hours of 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday unless by prior arrangement.
  10. Should the client deny access to the site for the purpose of installation(a) the account becomes payable in full within 7 days (b) once paid Egmont Blinds will store the goods at no cost to the customer for a maximum of three months
  11. In the event of this account being placed in a debt collection agency for formal demand ,all collection fees and disbursements shall be due and owing by the client
  12. Delay of payment unauthorized by Egmont Blinds may incur a 5% penalty
  13. When a 20th of the month credit is given, the account must be paid by the due date or a 10% penalty may be implemented
  14. Upon manufacture of this order is started, it cannot be cancelled
  15. Deposit indicates acceptance of conditions of sale
  16. The goods remain the property of Egmont Blinds until fully paid
  17. By signing the condition of sale you agree to accepting the information provided, to obtain information regarding your credit history via a third party credit agency if necessary 
  18. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY  :In no event will Egmont Blinds be liable for costs ,expenses, or damages in connection with the sale in excess of the Purchase Price of the Products. Where the products include multiple  items or units, the liability shall be limited to the price of the individual item.
  19. FOR CUSTOMERS THAT REQUIRE SHIPPING OF OUR BLINDS: Please inspect the goods before signing acceptance of the blinds, If you fail to do so we will not be responsible for refunding or repairing blinds during transportation. For packages that appear damaged please ask the delivery agent to return them to Egmont Blinds and email us immediately, any claims for damaged goods will take up to 14 days to replace. Full payment will need to be received before manufacture of any goods that require shipping.                                            

 

 

Warranty

Egmont Blinds offers a 5 year warranty (T&C applies).

This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by misuse, abuse  accident, alterations, motorised devices, normal wear and tear or failure to follow our instructions with respect to cleaning or maintenance.

Reverse Roll blinds are not covered in the warranty for fabric fraying on the control side edge. 

Egmont Blinds need to be informed as soon as possible should a warranty repair or service be required. Blinds will be returned to Egmont Blinds and if it is a manufacturing fault we will deliver back the replacement blind at our cost, If it is deemed a fault by misuse or as mentioned in our terms and conditions, the customer will be liable for all costs. 

We will endeavour to colour match or find similar components for repair and replacement however, we cannot guarantee the exact colour match will be available at the time of repair or replacement.

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the product or components which are of the manufacturers fault. Warranty is not transferable and or product warranty only applies to the original purchaser.
